In this course, students will learn about three issues that discuss the Israeli occupation of Palestine and the problems that Palestinians face as a result. Examine topics such as Israel and human rights abuse, the treatment of Palestinians in Israeli prisons, and possible solutions suggested before and after 1948. Students will address the Israeli occupation and its attempts to take over Palestinian land. Study international solutions to the occupation. For the final assignment, students will work in groups and research a topic of their choosing while addressing potential solutions.
